Elohim - the eternal God
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The strong One, the leading, the sovereign, the hero, the highest power, Master of the universe, of the life of all Nations, who has given a covenant to protect His creation.
El-Olam - the everlasting God
Genesis 21:33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
El-Shaddai - our all sufficient /almighty God
Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,
the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the
Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
The all sufficient God, the all comprising, the One,
who fulfils and brings fruit about, but also the One who
judges, purifies, corrects B in short: the Almighty, for
Whom everything is possible!

El-Gibbor - the mighty God
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Adonai - our sovereign LORD
Sovereign Lord, Lord over our lives, `My Lord, Owner ( the claim God makes against His people: the obedience and readiness to serve Him ). Adonai reveals the relationship He is keeping with us and what he exoduspects us to do. We do not belong to ourselves anymore. We have been bought for a high price. We belong to Adonai with spirit, soul and body. Adonai also means that He gives His servants with gifts/talents and enables them for the service. We as His servants are called to be His inheritance, His share and possession.
Hoseenu - the Lord our maker

Jehovah - El Chai - the living God
Psalm 42:2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Jehovah El Elyon - the most high God
Psalm 57:2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
Elohim Azar - God our helper
Psalm 54:4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Jehovah Jireh - the Lord our Provider
Gen 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place
Jehovah jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the
LORD it shall be seen.
Jehovah's providence becomes visible. The Lord
sees beforehand this need. It shall be seen and
provided for. Jehovah Jireh differs from Elohim, the
All-knowing One. The meaning of Jehovah Jireh is: He
sees something in advance and He knows something
beforehand. This is followed by His providence. He
will with certainty take care for the needs, which He
sees before. Prevision and Providence cannot be
separated! Jehovah Jireh is the God who gave for our
salvation the sacrificial lamb!
Jehovah Mekkadishkem - the Lord sanctifier
Exodus 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel,
saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign
between me and you throughout your generations; that ye
may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Jehovah is the Lord who makes you HOLY. To
separate, elect, sanctify, devote and to be holy. The
Holy Spirit from His conception on elected Jesus. He
was holy, without spot and sin. He became our High
priest and by His redeeming love He was made to be
sin for us. Jesus became our Salvation. We are called
to such holiness and separateness.
Jehovah Nissi - the Lord our banner
Exodus 17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of
it Jehovah nissi:
Jehovah Nissi, my banner, our victory, invincible God, He is
our standard. A sign of deliverance and salvation. A
sign for the victory in the daily needs. Banner is also
translated as staff, flag and standard. In Hebrew it can
also mean miracle. It was a sign for God's people to
assemble themselves. The banner stood for His
cause, His fight. With A Jehovah-Jesus as our
banner we can move on from victory to victory and
give thanks to God, who leads us in victorious
procession!!!
Elohim Macheslanu - God our refuge
Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Jehovah Eli Meleki - God my King
Psalm 68:24 They have seen thy goings, O God; even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
Jah - God that rideth upon the heavens
Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: exodustol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
Jehovah Rophe/Rapha - the Lord that heals

thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am

Jehovah heals, the Healer, the Physician. Restoration,
healing on a physical and spiritual level. Jesus is for
us wood and water (Exodus. 15, 22-26 ).
Jehovah Rohi - the Lord our shepherd
Psalm 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I
shall not want.
Jehovah is my shepherd. Shepherd means
companion, friend; someone who cares for me, who
feeds me, who guides me, who gives me direction.
Points to a personal relationship, which feeds us and
keeps us as His inheritance. Jesus is our good
shepherd, who came to guide us with a gentle hand.
He has qualified Himself as He became first a lamb
and thus has exodusperienced every need and difficulty of
a lamb.
Sabaoth - the Lord of hosts
1 Samuel 1:3 And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
Jehovah El Nas - the forgiving God

Jehovah Magenenu - the Lord our defence

Jehovah Shammah - the Lord is present
Ezekiel 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures:
and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD
is there.
Jehovah Shammah is present (in you), the omni-present. Here
is the Lord, Jehovah Shammah is present: His complete fullness
lives amongst us; His glory is visible amongst us.
Jehovah Shammah is God's promise to bring people
to final peace and glory. Man has been created to
glorify God and to rejoice in Him eternally. We are
looking forward to the new Heaven and the Earth,
where His Righteousness will reign forever.
Jehovah Shalom - the Lord our peace
Judge 6:23,24 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto
thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. Then Gideon built an
altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovahshalom:
unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
Jehovah Shalom is peace, wholeness, recompensing a loss, to
finish something, well being, to be complete, deepest
desire of the human heart. In Hebrew it also means
harmony in a relationship or a reconciliation, based on
a closed negotiation, the payment of a debt or to
serve satisfaction to someone.
Peace is destroyed by sin. The peace sacrifice re-
establishes the relationship between God and people.
Jehovah Tsidkenu - the Lord our righteousness
Jeremiah 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall
dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be
called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jehovah Tsidkenu is Righteousness. To govern in righteousness
and speak justice, justify, to declare innocent, acquit.
Right before God. Jehovah Tsidkenu reveals us, how
and in which measure we are accepted by God,
cleansed in the blood of the lamb and clothed in the
white robe of Righteousness, which we receive from
Jesus.
Emanuel - God with us

Yahweh is the God, who reveals and exoduspresses Himself in important spiritual and moral qualities. Yahweh reveals His love, connected with moral and spiritual features. He gives laws and statutes and shows us the consequences of disobedience
Alpha & Omega - the Beginning and the End
